Privacy Policy
The short version: we count pageviews ourselves, we set one functional cookie, and we have nothing to sell because we collect almost nothing.
First-party, server-side analytics
CryptoRanks uses its own server-side analytics: when a page renders, the server records the path, the referrer host, the language and a coarse bot flag. There is no Google Analytics, no third-party analytics script, no tracking pixel and no fingerprinting library on our pages.
IP addresses are never stored in the clear. Pageview deduplication uses a one-way hash that rotates daily, and outbound-click logs keep only a short, truncated one-way hash of the IP — neither can be reversed into the original address.
Cookies
We set a single functional cookie, named lang, which remembers the language you picked so the site greets you in it next time. It contains the two-letter language code, nothing else, and is never used to track you. There are no advertising or analytics cookies.
Advertising
Ads are served by A-ADS, a network chosen specifically because it works without user tracking: it sets no cookies and builds no profile of you. Ad slots are plain iframes; what you see is not based on who you are.
No sale or sharing of data
We do not sell, rent or share any visitor data with anyone. The little we store (hashed, aggregate analytics) is used only to understand which pages are useful and to keep bots out of the statistics.
